Hajrah Kimera was born on May 1986, in Uganda. Her journey into the world of art is deeply intertwined with her background in healthcare. In 2007, she enrolled in general health nursing in Uganda, where she practices for ten years. This experience laid the foundation for her compassionate approach to and art, as she moved to the UK in 2017 to further career as a mental health professional. Supporting young adults and vulnerable elderly individuals, she developed a profound understanding of the human experience.
Inspired by her work, Hajrah later pursed a master's degree in mental health and psychology at King's University, where she delved deeper into the connections between mental health and creative expressions. Along the way, she discovered her passion for Abstract artwork and impressionism, channelling her emotions and thoughts into her paintings.
Hajrah views her Art as a science of the mind, excited by the concept that every brushstroke represents a unique experience and emotional journey. Her works embody complexity of human feelings, transforming them into beautiful images that Reflect her imagination and the diverse emotions that fill our minds.
